Social Media Coordinator
We are looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator to create and maintain a strong online presence for Vera Causa Opera. Your role is to implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts. We’re looking for this new team member to be in for the long haul!
As a Social Media Coordinator, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand. You will contribute to the overall marketing strategy, helping to increase web traffic, brand awareness and customer engagement.
Responsibilities

Research audience preferences and discover current trends

Create engaging text, image and video content

Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new programs and services

Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries

Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans

Monitor social media mentions and analytics

Collaborate with Marketing Team to develop a content calendar and posting schedule

Oversee social media accounts’ layout and voice

Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
Qualifications & Experience

None required but any relevant experience will be considered

Previous experience of any length in managing a brand’s Social Media would be preferred

Outreach Coordinator
The Outreach Coordinator operates within the Community Engagement team. The ideal candidate will have a willingness and aptitude to meet and foster relationships with new people, organizations and businesses on behalf of Vera Causa Opera. They will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, with the goal of increasing awareness and support for our arts company. Working closely with the team, the Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with planning and executing events and activities related to key dates and relevant programs and campaigns undertaken by the organization. Other tasks will include general communications duties and communications projects as assigned.
The average time commitment expectation is between five and fifteen hours per week.
Responsibilities

Public speaking skills and comfortable working with groups, (small and large)

Identify and pursue opportunities for third-party partnerships and events, liaise with organizers

Knowledge of community groups and strong ambition to research and connect with groups

Contributes to and helps implement plans to engage the community

Other duties and committee work as assigned

Develop and maintain personal project schedules and timelines

Identify and implement improvement strategies and best practices

Administrative tasks associated with event invoicing, letter preparation, contracts and stakeholder correspondence

Coordinate the preparation and distribution of correspondence

Participate in the implementation of the communications and marketing plans for each event in conjunction with the Marketing team

Responsible for ensuring data regarding stakeholders and events on the Community database is current and accurate, including all data entry and information updates

Administrator
We are looking for a talented Administrator to organize and keep tabs on the operations at Vera Causa Opera. Your role is to organize our tasks to ensure we meet our goals and deadlines. We’re looking for this new team member to be in for the long haul!
As an Administrator, you will actively review the team's current assignments and deadlines. You will contribute to the overall organization of the charity, helping to sort tasks and files, take meeting notes, and provide suggestions for improvement.
