Since VCO's first show The Death of Maria in 2015 we've had the pleasure of working with so many young, talented musicians. After two great seasons and 4 shows, we have to say goodbye to some of our musicians who are graduating and moving on to new and exciting things. The four people we are saying goodbye to are: Adrian Little, Dylon Pastoor, John Luik and Chris Todd.
Adrian Little played piano for The Death of Maria and Echo. We will always think back fondly on Adrian as a leader for stepping up and offering to play a piano solo when one of our openers couldn't make the drive to Cambridge due to bad weather.
Dylon Pastoor played french horn for The Death of Maria and Don Giovanni. We're thankful Dylon was able to find time for VCO amidst all his other musical commitments such as the Stratford Symphony and the KW Chamber Orchestra.
John Luik performed in The Daughter of the Regiment and Don Giovanni. This summer John will be part of the Ceremonial Guard and in the fall he will be attending Niagara University in Elementary Education.
Chris Todd has played clarinet/bass clarinet in all our shows for both seasons. Thanks for two seasons of hard work and dedication, Chris! Next year he will be attending Nippising University for his Bachelor of Education.
We wish the best to these four in their future endeavors and they will always be welcome back to play with VCO whenever they are can!
