We are seeking an Education Outreach Coordinator to join our company in the Kitchener/Waterloo and Cambridge Region as a part-time employee.
Coordinate and schedule education outreach opportunities for the company
Connect with local schools and private institutions to promote opera in musical education while maintaining and developing relationships with said institutions
Plan and co-promote education-related events including workshops, amateur productions, and camps
Develop and implement an operational plan on education
Work closely alongside other officers to promote and achieve company goals
Develop innovative ways to expand educational content to target markets
Attend weekly meetings with the officers to report progress and solicit ideas
Attend monthly meetings with all company staff
Maintain a physical presence within the surrounding communities
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
Be an active part of our team and encourage collaboration
Be an active member of the both the online and physical communities of all our affiliates
Assist at company events
Strong communication skills & phone etiquette
Results driven professional with the ability to think outside the box
Demonstrate ability to develop rapport and build relationships
Goal orientated and highly motivated to “overachieve”
Enthusiastic and trustworthy
18 Years of age or older
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent Verbal Skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Excellent Organizational Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience working in an educational setting

This position is a volunteer position and will not have direct compensation. Bonuses and honorariums can and will be awarded depending on performance and fiscal state of the company.
