Vera Causa Opera is proud to announce details of their third production of the season: The Italian Girl in Algiers. Press Release (03/27/2018) Cambridge, ON - Vera Causa Opera (VCO) is proud to announce their line-up of shows for the 2017/18 Season.

Vera Causa Opera was started in the Waterloo Region in 2015 by local impresario Dylan Langan. Dylan is a Conductor, Composer and Baritone.

It is an innovative opera company in the Region of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. VCO reinstates opera as an accessible and communicative medium through the adaptation of old operas and the composition of new ones! This initiative is carried out through education in schools, camps, and integrating local performers and professionals into VCO productions, in doing so creating a new and inviting operatic environment.

Artistic Director Dylan Langan says: "The Italian Girl in Algiers promises to be an exciting night of opera. The cast and orchestra have been rehearsing hard and it is coming together beautifully. We encourage anyone in the area to come out and experience a youthful, exuberant Vera Causa Opera performance."
