Our mission is simple.

The most common thing we are told after people experience their first show is that they can't believe they've never tried opera before. We aim to offer an accessible and entertaining experience combining acting, comedy, singing, music, and dance all rolled into the form of opera. Being a charitable organization, we provide paid professional opportunities for youth, aimed at supporting their health and well-being while giving them a place to hone and showcase their talents to the community. We regularly perform in Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo.

Young Artists

We provide paid developmental opportunities to aspiring young singers, orchestra musicians, actors, and composers. To date, we have given opportunities to over 200 artists.

We create an inclusive opera community by allowing everyone, regardless of their educational background, to be involved in our operas. Our operas are regularly staged by directors who have never directed an opera before.

Learning together

High school students have a social and innovative place to earn their volunteer hours and develop new skills through our Mentorship Program. Students of all ages can learn how to be a Stage Director, Makeup Artist, Costumer Designer, and more.
